Nikolai leads an R&D team focused on oligo chemistry and molecular biology at Thermo Fisher Scientific. He received an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry before earning his doctorate at the Max-Planck-Institute for Immunobiology in Freiburg, Germany. Nikolai joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2014 as a R&D scientist and has led the development of several new products and production processes for synthetic DNA. In his current role, he oversees a team that develops technologies and workflows for oligonucleotide synthesis (chemical and enzymatic) as well as gene synthesis, including synthetic DNA libraries and products tailored for biopharma customers.

Vaida Seputiene Ph.D.
Manager, R&D Molecular Biology

Vaida leads an R&D team focused on molecular cloning innovations at Thermo Fisher Scientific. She received M.S. degree in Biochemistry before earning her doctorate at Vilnius University for Biochemistry in Lithuania. Vaida joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2012 as an R&D scientist and has led the development of several new products. In her current role, she oversees a team that develops technologies and workflows for molecular DNA cloning.
