Staying Ahead of Viral Variants: Surveillance Solutions for SARS-CoV-2

Since the initial COVID-19 outbreak, the SARS-CoV-2 virus has mutated, resulting in a range of variants. As COVID-19 continues to evolve, testing was designed with it to stay ahead of the changing virus: SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern, need to be detected early and accurately to ensure confidence in testing results and surveillance efforts.
The webinar will include the recent pandemic state and provide an overview of how Thermo Fisher Scientific responds to it, and cover surveillance tools which can enable laboratories to scale up surveillance testing and efficiently utilize available resources to fight the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Key Topics:

A. Responding to SARS-CoV-2 variants - Detection and Surveillance
B. Fast confirmation of SARS-CoV-2 variants with NGS
C. Wastewater Testing and Air Monitoring - What's Next?
