The Bioprocess Design Center in Singapore features three training labs including upstream processing (USP), downstream processing (DSP), and cell culture to support biopharmaceutical production processes. Equipped with solutions from Thermo Fisher Scientific, the labs cover a range of topics from basic research to production, backed by regional bioprocess specialists.

Upstream

The upstream program covers key aspects of biologics manufacturing, including cell culture with single-use bioreactors and fermentors for vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, and recombinant proteins. It includes process development, cell line and media techniques, spent media analysis, HIP media solutions, and the use of peptone and chemically defined media. 

Downstream
