Expect to receive more of your Invitrogen antibodies shipped at ambient temperature, reducing the adverse environmental impact of shipping products at cold temperatures.

We are also excited to introduce a paper-based and recyclable padded paper pouch for antibodies shipments, offering improved sustainability benefits while ensuring the safe and secure delivery of antibodies.

 

Through rigorous temperature stability testing, including broad immunoassay validation, we have demonstrated that antibody products shipped at ambient temperature perform identically to those shipped with cold-chain conditions and maintain long-term stability.

To ensure the efficacy of this new shipping approach, our testing team at Thermo Fisher tested multiple lots of antibodies and subjected them to rigorous validation, allowing for comprehensive evaluation and analysis.

 


Reducing environmental impacts

By eliminating the use of cold gel packs and coolers for shipping our antibodies products, we decrease packaging, thereby reducing waste and emissions during transport.

This change in shipping method has the potential to eliminate more than 98,000 kg of paper and 200,000 kg of gel ice packs and reduce emissions.
