The Pathatrix™ Cationic/General Viral Capture Kit, when used with the Pathatrix™ Auto Instrument, facilitates the concentration and isolation of viruses from 10-60 ml liquid for downstream detection by PCR, immunoassay or culture.

When used with the Pathatrix™ Auto Instrument, the Pathatrix™ Cationic/General Viral Capture Kit:
• Improves sensitivity – concentrates target organisms from large sample volumes
• Minimizes false positive and indeterminate rates – isolates target organisms from background flora and PCR inhibitors

Each kit includes one vial of cationic paramagnetic beads and sufficient numbers of sterile, single-use plastic consumables for 50 samples.
