What instructions should I use for the Cyanide, Quantofix Test Strips?

We recommend the following instructions for the Cyanide, Quantofix Test Strips:
1. Rinse the measuring vessel with the test solution and fill it to the 5 mL mark.
2. Add 1 spoon of Cyanide-1 to the sample.
3. Add 5 drops of Cyanide-2 to the sample.
4. Shake the sample carefully.
5. Immediately dip the test strip into the sample.
6. Wait 45 seconds and shake off the excess liquid.
7. Compare within 10 seconds to the color scale.

Note: To obtain correct results with this test, the pH value of the sample must be <10. Therefore, the pH value of the sample must be measured prior to using the test strip. If the solution has a pH value >10, add drops of dilute sulfuric acid to lower the pH to 6-7 (optimal pH value).
