When using the Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ IonPac™ AS15 column, the Dionex IonPac AC15 Concentrator Column is the anion concentrator of choice. The Dionex IonPac AC15 concentrator is offered in two formats, 4 x 50mm and 2 x 50mm. The 2mm format minimizes dead volume when operating microbore systems.

Dionex IonPac and Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ IonSwift™ anion concentrator columns are designed primarily for high-purity water analysis. The concentrator column retains anions from a measured volume of aqueous sample matrix, concentrating the analyte species and lowering detection limits by 2–5 orders of magnitude.

Choosing the Correct Concentrator Column
  • 4mm Dionex IonPac AS15 column: 4 x 50mm Dionex IonPac AC15 concentrator column (void volume ∼210μL, capacity ∼9μeq/column)
  • 2mm and 3mm Dionex IonPac AS15 column: 2 x 50mm Dionex IonPac AC15 concentrator column (void volume ∼53µL, capacity ∼2.2µeq/column).
  • Compatible with a single-piston sample delivery pump (Thermo Scientific Dionex AXP Auxiliary Pump)
