Designed for use with Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ ASE™ Accelerated Solvent Extractor systems, this unique formulation of Dionex ASE Prep MAP Dispersant and Sorbent allows quick, effective water removal independent of the ionic strength of the sample matrix. The proprietary MAP polymer is a copolymer of an anionic and cationic monomer. It is a free-flowing white material and can be easily mixed with ASE Prep DE (diatomaceous earth) in a 1:1 ratio for optimum moisture removal under accelerated solvent extraction conditions.

Dionex ASE Accelerated Solvent Extractor Systems

Dionex ASE systems automate extraction, filtration and clean-up of solid and semisolid sample matrices using common solvents at elevated temperatures and pressures. Low- and high-throughput systems are available for a wide variety of applications.

Dionex ASE systems enable extraction of sample sizes 1 to 100g in minutes, perform unattended extraction of up to 24 samples and use 50 to 90% less solvent compared to other methods. The chemically inert pathway supports acidic and alkaline matrices and solvents. These flexible, easy-to-operate, cost-effective systems have been approved for use by the U.S. EPA and CLP Program.

There are a variety of products that can be added to the Dionex ASE extraction cell to remove moisture, disperse the sample matrix and neutralize mineral acids.
