Extracting nitrosamine compounds from a water sample on the Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ AutoTrace™ 280 Solid Phase Extraction instrument according to U.S. EPA Method 521? Use the Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ AutoTrace™ 280 Sample Cleanup Kit to obtain nitrosamine-free water for preparation of your calibration standard. Nitrosamine contaminants such as N-nitrosodimethlyamine (NDMA) can be present in the reagent and Milli-Q™ water. The Cleanup Kit enables you to modify your instrument so that you can use a solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridge sorbent bed (not included) to remove these nitrosamine contaminates and collect clean water for your calibration standard.

The Cleanup Kit includes all the parts necessary—tubing, nuts, screw, o-rings, fittings, clamps, union cartridge adapter, and brochure—to add this reagent water cleanup capability on your AutoTrace 280 Extraction system.

The Dionex AutoTrace 280 Solid Phase Extraction instrument is ideal for labs using U.S. EPA methods for water analysis and other methods requiring SPE sample cleanup. The workstation automatically loads liquid matrices onto an SPE disc or cartridge and elutes the analytes of interest, letting you process up to six samples at a time, with only 15 minutes of operator involvement.

The Dionex AutoTrace 280 SPE instrument handles large volume solid phase extraction of liquid samples from 20mL to 4L. The system can be configured with 1, 3, or 6mL SPE cartridges or 47mm discs, using up to five different solvents.
