Achieve consistent low dead volume connections and ensure optimum chromatographic performance for ion chromatography (IC) applications with Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ IC PEEK Viper™ fitting, kits, and sample loops. Conventional PEEK fittings can increase dead volume if the ferrule is incorrectly positioned or tubing poorly cut, resulting in reduced efficiencies and poor peak shapes. Dionex IC PEEK Viper fittings provide worry-free, finger-tight connections with virtually zero dead volume. Dionex IC PEEK Viper fittings are easy to use and available in convenient kits tailored specifically to your IC system.

The ferrule-free Dionex IC PEEK Viper design reduces dead volume of fluidic connections to virtually zero by sealing at the tip of the tubing. Dionex IC PEEK Viper fittings require much less torque to tighten than traditional PEEK fittings. The effort required to create a seal for 5000 psi (34 MPa) of pressure is similar to the effort needed to turn a dial on a combination lock.

Dionex IC PEEK Viper Fittings Kits are compatible with the following high-pressure ion chromatography (HPIC) systems:

  • Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ ICS-6000, ICS-5000+, and ICS-5000
  • Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ Integrion™
  • Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ ICS-4000

For best results, order the kit made specifically for your IC system, detector, and column i.d. Each kit contains the fittings needed to plumb a single channel. Fittings are labeled on each end for quick and easy installation. Four IC PEEK Viper sample loops are also available for microbore and standard bore applications.
