Determine quantity of total bilirubin in serum in vitro with Thermo Scientific™ Total Bilirubin Reagents.
Bilirubin is produced from the catabolism of the heme molecule. Total bilirubin consists of both conjugated (direct) and unconjugated (indirect) fractions. Increased levels are associated with conditions causing obstruction of the bile duct, hepatitis, cirrhosis, hemolytic disorders, physiological jaundice of the newborn and several inherited enzyme deficiencies.
- Suitable for manual use or on automated clinical chemistry analyzers
- Applications for both sample blanking and non-sample blanking methods available on request for a wide range of automated analyzers
- Offers at least 21 days working reagent stability and various kit sizes.
