Description

This monoclonal antibody reacts with MDR. Elevated levels of p-glycoprotein have been reported in multidrug-resistant cell lines and in colon, endometrial, ovarian, and breast tumors, as well as in sarcomas and leukemias/lymphomas. Clone JSB-1 identifies an independent, strongly conserved cytoplasmic epitope present on the p-glycoprotein molecule, and does not cross-react with MDR3 p-glycoprotein. Positive tissue: Colon/liver.
