Description

This monoclonal antibody reacts with CD57, a 110 kDa human lymphocyte cell surface antigen. Labels Natural Killer cells (large granular lymphocytes) in germinal centers. The antibody is useful in the detection of large granular lymphocytosis. The antigen is expressed in 50% of small cell lung carcinomas and 85% of carcinoid tumors. Positive tissue: Tonsil/lymph node/spleen.
