SPME Fiber and Arrow products
The SPME Arrow and Fiber comprise a thin fused-silica fiber coated by an organic phase. They extract and concentrate analytes by ab- or adsorption and desorption processes. The fiber is successively thermally desorbed into a GC injector and the analytes are transferred to the analytical column. Selecting SPME Fiber or SPME Arrow depends on hardware compatibility and which product is used in your validated laboratory method.

SPME Fiber

• SMART SPME Fibers are available for automatic usage tracking if used with the TriPlus RSH SMART autosampler.

SPME Arrow

• Improved, optimized fiber geometry
• Faster extraction, higher throughput, more robust
• Wide selection of sorption materials
• Requires compatible firmware, SPME Arrow Conditioning Module and Heatex Stirrer, and an adaptation kit for the GC inlet of the TRACE1300 Series GC Instant Connect Split Splitless injector to accommodate the larger diameter of SPME Arrows
• SMART SPME Arrow Fibers are available for automatic usage tracking if used with the TriPlus RSH SMART autosampler.

GC Compatibility
SPME Arrow and SPME Fiber products are for use with the TriPlus RSH autosampler with GC analysis using the Thermo Scientific TRACE 1300 Series GC with an Instant Connect Split/Splitless injector or a TRACE GC Ultra Split/Splitless injector.
