VetMAX™ NA and EU PRRSV Controls are used in multiplex, real-time reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR) to simultaneously detect and subtype both North American (NA) and European (EU) Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV). XenoRNA™ RNA Control is an internal positive control added to the lysis solution during RNA isolation to distinguish PCR inhibition, reaction failure, or human error from true negatives. In a single-tube, one-step reaction, PRRSV RNA is reverse transcribed into cDNA.
