SOLiD® Sequencing Reagents (SR) Kits contain enzymes and probes needed for ligation sequencing with 2-base encoded (2BE) probes on the 5500/5500xl Genetic Analyzer. The SOLiD® FWD SR Kits are used for fragment, mate-paired, and paired-end sequencing runs, for ligation sequencing in the forward direction.

Double-sized kits have sufficient reagents for covering two FlowChips.

The SOLiD® FWD SR S75 Kit, Double contains sufficient ligase, phosphatase, and forward 2BE probes to run 750 to 1032 cycles, or up to 86 cycles per lane for 12 lanes. The kit is best configured for sequencing read lengths up to 75 bp for barcoded runs. In addition to the SOLiD® Run Cycle Buffers and SOLiD® Buffer D (Reset), this kit requires the use of the SOLiD® FWD Buffer. Store the SOLiD® FWD SR S75 Kits at –25°C to –15°C until ready for use.
