Develop highly selective methods for trace analytes or novel molecules with sensitivity three to six orders of magnitude greater than UV detection. The Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ UltiMate™ 3000 Fluorescence Detectors offer four channel acquisition at up to 200Hz so you can optimize quantification on the most sensitive channel and single-channel detection at up to 100Hz. 2D or 3D synchro, excitation, emission scans, zero order mode, or multichannel acquisition offer flexibility for method development or routine sample characterization. A variable emission filter allows real-time, compound-related sensitivity optimization.

Recommended Use

The Thermo Scientific™ UltiMate 3000 Rapid Separation Fluorescence Detector FLD-3400 is recommended for method development labs that need flexibility in detecting novel compounds that don’t absorb in the UV-vis region of the spectrum. It is ideal for the analysis of carbohydrates, glycans, and polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in combination with any Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ UltiMate 3000 system. The ability to cleave and derivitize glycans from intact proteins or monoclonal antibodies eliminates interferences from coeluting matrix peptides.

  • Optional second photomultiplier (PMT) for Dual-PMT operation extends the wavelength range up to 900nm without sacrificing sensitivity in the standard wavelength range.
