The GeneChip Test3 Array provides a convenient and accurate method to determine the quality of a labeled target prior to its analysis the GeneChip expression arrays. This array contains probe sets representing a subset of characterized genes from various organisms, including mammals, plants, and eubacteria.

Additionally, the GeneChip Test3 Array contains a subset of human and mouse housekeeping genes (shown to be expressed early in fetal development and throughout adulthood). This array also serves as an economically priced training tool for new GeneChip technology users.
