Salicylaldehyde azine is used in the preparation of 2-oxo-2H-1-benzopyran-3-carboxylic acid 2-(2-oxo-2H-1-benzopyran-3-carbonyl)hydrazide by reacting with propadienedione . It has anthelmintic activity.

Aplicaciones
La salicilaldehído azina se utiliza en la preparación de ácido 2-oxo-2H-1-benzopirano-3-carboxílico 2-(2-oxo-2H-1-benzopirano-3-carbonilo)hidrazida reaccionando con propadienodiona . Tiene propiedades antihelmínticas.

Solubilidad
Soluble en dimetilsulfóxido, metanol y acetato de etilo. Ligeramente soluble en agua.
