Phosphate-Buffered Saline (PBS) is a balanced salt solution used for a variety of applications, including reagent preparation, diluting cells for flow cytometry and as a cell culture reagent. This Gibco® PBS is formulated without calcium and magnesium for suspending cells for flow cytometry. This PBS is not intended for cell culture as it is not tested for sterility.
