We do not recommend using MagMax Pure Bind Beads for cleanup of cycle sequencing reactions. Fragments below 90 bp will be lost, so a large part of the beginning of a sequence can not be sequenced following cleanup using MagMax Pure Bind beads.

MagMAX Pure Bind beads have been designed to bind to DNA and are not manufactured under RNase-free conditions. Therefore, the product has not been tested to be RNase-free and we do not recommend using it for RNA cleanup. We offer several RNA purification kits to choose from to suit your specific needs.
