El soporte magnético 96 se ha diseñado para la precipitación de perlas paramagnéticas de microplacas estándar de 96 pocillos y fondo en U y de placas de reacción en cadena de la polimerasa (PCR) de 0,2 ml sin accesorios adicionales. El soporte tiene una base blanca de polioximetileno (POM) transparente en la superficie de microplacas de 96 pocillos SBS estándar. El uso de 24 imanes permanentes extremadamente potentes garantiza una separación magnética rápida y sencilla en tan solo 30 segundos. Se coloca plano sobre la mesas del laboratorio, así como en un adaptador de microplacas en estaciones de trabajo robotizadas.
