The RNAqueous®-96 Kit is used for high-throughput, phenol-free total RNA isolation from 100–2,000,000 cells or 0.1–1.5 mg of tissue using a guanidinium-based lysis/denaturant and glass fiber filter separation technology. The kit contains sufficient reagents for 192 (2 x 96) RNA purifications. The RNAqueous®-96 Kit is ideal for the isolation of total RNA from multiple samples and very small samples.

Using the RNAqueous®-96 Kit
The procedure uses an RNA-binding glass-fiber filter and either vacuum filtration or centrifugation methods to provide high yields of intact RNA. An optional on-the-filter DNase treatment can be performed to ensure removal of genomic DNA for RT-PCR applications. The 96-well plates are compatible with most common 96-well plate vacuum manifolds and 96-well plate centrifuge rotors. The RNAqueous®-96 Kit provides consistently high yields of RNA from various amounts of starting material. The high quality of RNA isolated is illustrated (see figure).
