Conclusively locate alpha contamination on personnel or workplace surfaces. Thermo Scientific™ AP2 and AP5 Series Alpha Scintillation Probes are general purpose instruments containing a zinc sulfide alpha scintillator, the preferred technology for detecting alpha contamination on the hands, feet or other surfaces. The AP2 probe has a conveniently angled radiation window and is contained in a light alloy housing for easy self monitoring. The AP5 probe features rugged construction and field-replaceable radiation windows for reliable operation while monitoring workplaces, benches, personnel and tools.
