Sodium deoxycholate monohydrate is used as a solubilization agent for estrogen synthetase from human placental microsomes. It is also used to study the immobilization of lipoxygenase in an alginate-silicate gel matrix and to investigate the in vitro dissolution of gall stones.

Aplicaciones
El desoxicolato de sodio monohidrato se utiliza como agente de solubilización para la sintetasa de estrógeno a partir de microsomas placentarios humanos. También se utiliza para estudiar la inmovilización de la lipooxigenasa en una matriz de gel alginato-silicato y para investigar la disolución in vitro de piedras de la vesícula biliar.
