Oxoid™ Fraser Broth Base (Dehydrated)

Selectively enrich and isolate Listeria spp. from food and environmental samples with Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Fraser Broth (Dehydrated). The medium is intended for the isolation of Listeria as detailed in ISO11290-1:2017 Horizontal method for the detection and enumeration of Listeria monocytogenes and of Listeria spp.

Listeria monocytogenes is the most common pathogenic Listeria spp. and has been shown to be pathogenic to both humans and animals. The medium is intended for the isolation of Listeria as detailed in ISO11290-1:2017 Horizontal method for the detection and enumeration of Listeria monocytogenes and of Listeria spp.

• Selective: the medium is selective for Listeria
• Easy-to-read: blackening of the medium is presumptive evidence of the presence of Listeria spp.
