Description

The ELF® 97 mRNA In Situ Hybridization Kit #1 provides a rapid and sensitive assay for detecting mRNA in situ hybridization signals in cells and tissue sections. The kit is designed to detect alkaline phosphatase conjugates that have been applied to detect DNA or RNA probes utilizing the ELF® 97 phosphatase substrate that upon hydrolysis produces a bright and photostable yellow-green fluorescent precipitate at the site of enzymatic activity. This fluorescent precipitate has several unique spectral characteristics, including an extremely large Stokes shift, 180 nm that makes it easily distinguishable from endogenous fluorescence.
