The all-in-one Invitrogen E-Gel Power Snap Plus Electrophoresis System is designed for fast and convenient high-throughput E-Gel agarose gel electrophoresis, from DNA sample loading to gel imaging. With dry precast E-Gel agarose gel technology, you can run DNA samples in as little as 10 minutes and observe sample separation in real time. It is the only benchtop system that seamlessly integrates high-throughput DNA sample separation and gel imaging into one workflow.

Small, fast, and powerful
The all-in-one E-Gel Power Snap Plus Electrophoresis System provides everything you need for DNA gel electrophoresis and gel visualization in a small lightweight benchtop system. The system includes an electrophoresis power supply, blue-light transilluminator, amber filter, and adapter for 11- to 22-well E-Gel agarose gels. This enables gel separation and real-time sample tracking on E-Gel agarose gels pre-stained with SYBR Safe or SYBR Gold II DNA stains. The device arrives with pre-programmed protocols for each type of compatible E-Gel agarose gel.

Instant capture and seamless integration
Capture high-resolution E-Gel agarose gel images with the included easy-to-use E-Gel Power Snap Plus Camera. The camera is directly docked to the E-Gel Power Snap Electrophoresis Device, requiring no external power supply or connection to a desktop computer. The E-Gel Power Snap Plus Camera is also compatible with the included WiFi dongle and has an ethernet port, so you can export your experimental data to the cloud or internal servers for maximum convenience.

Unsurpassed convenience of dry precast E-Gel agarose gel
Run DNA samples in as little as 10 minutes with dry, precast, pre-stained E-Gel agarose gels. The E-Gel dry precast agarose gel technology provides speed and convenience, eliminating any need for gel preparation or staining. E-Gel agarose gels are available in a variety of gel percentage and a choice of two DNA stains. The E-Gel Power Snap Plus Electrophoresis Device is compatible with high-throughput E-Gel 48 and E-Gel 96 gels with SYBR Safe*. A provided adapter extends compatibility to low-throughput E-Gel precast agarose gels, including E-Gel EX, E-Gel SYBR Safe, E-Gel CloneWell II, and E-Gel SizeSelect II gels*.

The blue light emitted by the E-Gel Power Snap Plus Electrophoresis Device transilluminator ensures maximum possible safety to the user and the samples. A combination of blue light and amber filter also offers real-time viewing of the migration of your samples. The E-Gel Power Snap Plus system is a perfect choice for routine PCR fragment analysis, genotyping, and other applications requiring high-throughput. The compatibility with E-Gel CloneWell II gels also makes it a great choice for a safer cloning workflow with increased efficiency.

Made for convenience
The integrated E-Gel Power Snap Plus Camera touch-screen and on-board software provide an intuitive interface for quick gel image capture and editing. The device also offers built in E-Gel 96 deconvolution into several more readable formats. You can store images in the internal memory of the Power Snap Plus system, on our Thermo Fisher Connect cloud-based platform, or on local network drive to further optimize your workflow.

*The E-Gel Power Snap Plus Electrophoresis System also supports ethidium bromide-stained E-Gel high- and low- throughput agarose gels. The ethidium bromide-stained gels are not suitable for imaging with the E-Gel Power Snap Camera or real-time view.
