Description

2'-Deoxyuridine-5'-triphosphate disodium salt is used in conjunction with uracil DNA glycosylase to prevent carryover contamination in PCR. The dUTP is substituted for dTTP in the PCR reaction, used to study the distribution, specificity and kinetics of deoxyuridine 5?-triphosphate nucleotidohydrolase(s) (dUTPase, EC 3.6.1.23). dUTPase are important enzymes that protect cells from the incorporation of dUTP into DNA.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.
