N,N-Diethylformamide is used in the synthesis of metal-organic frameworks and Diethyltrifluoromethylamine. It is also used as solvent in the preparation of porous cubic-shaped zinc oxide particles. It is involved in the preparation of quinazoline-2,4(1H,3H)-dione by reacting with o-aminonitrile.

Aplicaciones
La N,N-dietilformamida se utiliza en la síntesis de estructuras organometálicas y dietiltrifluorometilamina. También se usa como disolvente en la preparación de partículas porosas de óxido de zinc en forma cúbica. Participa en la preparación de la quinazolina-2,4(1H,3H)-diona al reaccionar con el o-aminonitrilo.

Solubilidad
Miscible con acetona, benceno, alcohol y éter.

Incompatible con agentes oxidantes fuertes. Mantener alejada de fuentes de calor, llamas y chispas.
