Description

Magnesium, turnings is used in solid state synthesis with Ca and Sn resulted in a new phase, Ca6.2Mg3.8Sn7, which has an unprecedented type of tin chain composed of square-planar tin units. It is a component in die-casting, to remove sulfur in the production of iron and steel, the production of titanium in the Kroll process. It is widely used for manufacturing of mobile phones, laptop and tablet computers, cameras, and other electronic components.
