Applications
o-Toluenesulfonyl chloride is used in organic synthesis and saccharin production. It is also used as pharmaceutical intermediate.

Solubility
Soluble in hot alcohol, ether and benzene. Reacts with water.

Notes
Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Store in cool place. Store under inert gas. It is sensitive to moisture.
