Analytic capabilities include advanced dynamic mapping strategies for separator film thickness control in both wet and dry processes. Reporting options extend to the ability to generate roll, shift or production reports, 3D profile and zoom displays and SPC/QC control charts. Together these capabilities provide manufacturers with the information needed to minimize the risk of downstream processing issues while safeguarding battery quality.
The LInspector Measurement and Control System for Separator Film consists of Thermo Scientific MKIII Scanner, LInspector Separator Film Application software package, and can be configured with Thermo Scientific PROSIS Thickness Sensor, Beta Plus Basis Weight or X-Ray Master Direct Thickness Measurement Sensors.
To optimize productivity and minimize downtime, LInspector Measurement and Control System for Separator Film can be supplied with Thermo Scientific Instrument Performance Management (IPM) Software through our Product Support Agreement. IPM is a cloud-based service platform that remotely monitors the health and status of the system. It securely archives and stores measurement and diagnostic data to allow users to identify critical operational issues and can automatically notify the Technical Support Team to ensure a rapid response. By providing extensive process analytics and data retrieval capabilities IPM software supports improved first-time fix rates and minimizes unplanned downtime.
