Description

Microplate Lysis Reagent is a buffered nonionic detergent solution for the lysis of adherent or non-adherent cultured cells under non-denaturing conditions. Simply remove the cell culture medium, add the Microplate Lysis Reagent, and incubate. The resulting cell lysates are suitable for many assays types, including the Amplex® and EnzChek® microplate assays.

Microplate Lysis Reagent is a ready-to-use buffered nonionic detergent solution that is simply applied to adherent or non-adherent cells. After a five minute incubation (optimization of this time may be required), a cell lysate is obtained that can be directly used in downstream microplate-based assays. Microplate Lysis Reagent is a superior choice for the Amplex® and EnzChek® micropate assays. Because of the gentle, non-denaturing conditions, Microplate Lysis Reagent can be adapted to many different cell types and downstream applications/assays.
