GeneAmp dNTPs are deoxynucleotide triphosphates dissolved in glass-distilled water and titrated to pH 7.0 with NaOH. GeneAmp dNTPs with dUTP can be used to generate dU-containing PCR products in a carry-over prevention strategy in conjunction with AmpErase Uracil N-glycosylase (UNG).

Highlights
• High purity dNTPs are ideal for use in PCR or other applications
• dNTPs with dUTP are optimized for use in carry-over prevention
• Guaranteed PCR performance when used with GeneAmp PCR core reagents and GeneAmp instrument systems
• Premixed dNTP blends are available in various concentrations, offering ease of use

Notes
• GeneAmp dNTP Blend, 12.5 mM with dUTP contains 2.5 mM each of dATP, dCTP, dGTP and 5.0 mM of dUTP

자주 묻는 질문(FAQ)

Why do some dNTP mixes contain dTTP and others TTP?

Thymine is normally found as a deoxyribose. Thus, TTP and dTTP are essentially the same thing. Both types of mixes can be used in PCR reactions

Can dU-containing DNA produced by amplification with dUTP be cut by restriction enzymes?

You will need to confirm with the manufacturer of the restriction enzyme you are using to find out whether or not it can recognize dUTP-containing DNA.
