Tools to aid in 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
Optional Thermo Scientific™ SciVault™ 2 software can be activated through the local on-board software or installed on a companion PC and gives labs the tools they need to comply with US FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
- Compliance made easy – SciVault 2 integrates into the NanoDrop Ultra software user interface and controls user account management, user account access, digital signatures, and audit logs.
User Management feature: Create users or pull existing users from a connected active directory and assign them to unique roles.
- User Privileges feature: This policy setting feature allows policies to be assigned to each role. Policies determine what access and restrictions are assigned to each role.
- Audit Logs feature: Generate and save an audit trail of activities that have occurred related to the instrument and software.
- On-board options — Software is available to be run directly on the local instrument through on–board user account management or you can connect your instrument to your domain to use your Windows account management.
- Centralized solution - install SciVault 2 software on a central computer to control privileges and view audit logs across multiple NanoDrop Ultra instruments in different labs.

USB stick containing the SciVault 2 software, which can be installed on a companion PC, and a Key file that can be used to unlock SciVault 2 on the NanoDrop Ultra instrument itself.
