Perform effortless antimicrobial susceptibility tests (AST) using Thermo Scientific™ Iso-Sensitest™ Agar with Horse Blood and 20mg/L NAD. Specifically designed for AST, Iso-Sensitest Agar allows the growth of the majority of microorganisms without further supplementation and has stability in mineral content and the ability to produce optimum antimicrobial zones of inhibition.

The formulation of Iso-Sensitest Agar with Horse Blood and 20mg/L NAD is carefully constructed to give a reproducible, semi-defined medium in which the undefined components are kept to a minimal level.

The amino-nitrogen base of acid-hydrolysed casein and special peptones has been supplemented with defined growth factors. Careful preparation of the nutrients ensures that trimethoprim and sulphonamide antagonists are at very low levels.
