Quantify dsDNA quickly and easily, even in the presence of contaminants, with the Qubit dsDNA HS (High Sensitivity) and Qubit dsDNA BR (Broad Range) Assay kits. The dsDNA assay kits are designed specifically for use with the Qubit Fluorometer and are highly selective for double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) over RNA. The Qubit dsDNA HS assay is intended to be accurate for initial sample concentrations ranging from 10 /µL to 100 ng/µL. The Qubit dsDNA BR assay is intended to be accurate for initial sample concentrations ranging from 0.2 ng/µL to 1000 ng/µL.

Qubit dsDNA HS Assay Kit features
• Core range (high confidence): 1 ng/mL to 500 ng/mL
• Extended ranges (moderate confidence): 0.5 ng/mL to 1 ng/mL and 500 ng/mL to 600 ng/mL
• Useful for quantitation of PCR products, viral DNA, and samples for subcloning

Qubit dsDNA BR Assay Kit features
• Core range (high confidence): 0.01 µg/mL to 5 µg/mL
• Extended range (moderate confidence): 5 µg/mL to 10 µg/mL
• Useful for quantitation of genomic and miniprep DNA samples

Both kits provide concentrated assay reagent, dilution buffer, and pre-diluted DNA standards. Simply dilute the reagent using the buffer provided, add your sample (any volume between 1 µL and 20 µL is acceptable), and read the concentration using the Qubit Fluorometer. Common contaminants such as salts, free nucleotides, solvents, detergents, and protein are well tolerated in either assay.

Which product to choose for dsDNA HS (High Sensitivity) or dsDNA BR (Broad Range) quantitation?
• 1–20 samples: use the Qubit dsDNA HS Assay Kit or the Qubit dsDNA BR Assay Kit with the Qubit Fluorometer
• 20–2000 samples: use the Quant-iT dsDNA HS Assay Kit or the Quant-iT dsDNA BR Assay with a microplate reader

Notes:
1. All Qubit assay kits can be used with the Qubit 1.0, Qubit 2.0, Qubit 3, and Qubit 4 fluorometers.
2. 500 µL thin-walled PCR (Cat. No.Q32856) tubes are required but not included.
