No, this assay is only compatible with Qubit 4 Fluorometer (Cat. No. Q33226) and Qubit Flex Fluorometer (Cat. No. Q33327).

The storage conditions for the 1X dsDNA BR working solution are 18–28 degrees C (room temperature). When stored as directed, the kit contents are stable for at least 6 months from delivery date. The standards should still be kept in the fridge.

After mixing the sample or the standard with the working solution, the fluorescence signal is stable for 3 hours at room temperature when samples are protected from light, following the incubation period.

The Qubit 4 Fluorometer needs to be updated. The Qubit 4 Fluorometer can be updated with the USB that was provided with the Qubit. If you do not have the USB, we recommend using an empty 2.0GB that is FAT32 formatted. If the USB is not recognized, leave USB plugged in for a few minutes before running the update. This should give you the assay you need to run the Qubit Assay.

No. The Qubit Flex Quantitation Starter Kit (Cat. No. Q45894) does not include a Qubit dsDNA Broad Range Assay Kit (Cat. No. Q33265, Q33266). It must be purchased separately.

The Qubit 1X dsDNA High Sensitivity (HS) and Broad Range (BR) Assay Kits (Cat. Nos. Cat. Q33230, Q33231, Q33265, Q33266) are stable for 6 months from the date of receipt when stored as directed.

The Qubit 1X dsDNA High Sensitivity (HS) and Broad Range (BR) Assay Kits (Cat. Nos. Q33230, Q33231, Q33265, Q33366) are newer and have a simplified workflow compared to the original Qubit dsDNA Quantification Assay Kits (Cat. Nos. Q32850, Q32851, Q32853, Q32854). The original Qubit kits contain separate dyes and buffer components that must be mixed together to make a working solution, in which the dye degrades after a few hours. With the newer Qubit 1X dsDNA Assay kits, the dye is premixed with a buffer that keeps the dye stable long-term and can be added directly to DNA samples.

The assay kits are stable for at least 6 months from the date of receipt.
