The Invitrogen™ Qubit™ NGS Library Quantification Assay is an easy-to-use fluorescence-based assay for precise molar quantification of sequencing-ready Illumina next-generation sequencing (NGS) libraries using the Qubit™ Flex Fluorometer or compatible fluorescence microplate readers. The assay selectively quantifies P5/P7-adapted double-stranded DNA libraries prior to sequencing, helping ensure optimal cluster density and successful sequencing runs.

Accurate determination of library concentration is a critical step in NGS workflows, as the amount of DNA loaded onto a flow cell directly impacts cluster density, data quality, and sequencing efficiency. The Qubit NGS Library Quantification Assay provides a dilution-free, time-saving alternative to qPCR-based library quantification methods while delivering comparable precision.

  • Requires the use of the Qubit Flex System Verification Assay Kit (Cat. No. Q33254) prior to the first assay run.
