Pathogenic fungi have an enormous impact on human health. Most people are aware of some of the superficial infections caused by fungi. These include skin and nail infections such as athlete's foot and ringworm, predominantly caused by a dermatophyte. More seriously, certain fungal species can cause invasive diseases in humans.

Use SABHI™ Agar for the cultivation and isolation of pathogenic fungi.

  • The combined formulation of Brain Heart Infusion Agar and Sabouraud Dextrose Agar gives improved recovery of pathogenic fungi.
  • Ready-to-use convenience of prepared media.
