Rapidly detect and quantify specific antibodies to Brucella abortus and Brucella melitensis in sera with Thermo Scientific™ Remel™ Stained Brucella Suspensions. Stained Brucella Suspensions are standardized, smooth suspensions of killed bacteria which have been stained to facilitate reading of agglutination tests.

Use Stained Brucella Suspensions for the qualitative detection of Brucella abortus and Brucella melitensis antibodies in sera in the investigation of pyrexia and in standard Widal tests1, 2, 3.

Serological tests are based on the fact that antibodies in serum, produced in response to exposure to bacterial antigens, will agglutinate bacterial suspensions which carry homologous antigens.
