The RediPlate™ 96 RiboGreen® RNA Quantitation Kit is a rapid, simple, and highly sensitive fluorescence-based RNA-quantitation assay. The microplate has been pre-loaded with RiboGreen® Reagent, which shows bright green fluorescence upon binding to RNA or DNA (1). You simply add buffer and samples to the microplate wells, wait 10 minutes, and then read the fluorescence in any standard fluorescence-based microplate reader. The versatile RediPlate™ 96 design is ideal for either high-throughput quantitation or the measurement of a small number of samples. The RediPlate™ 96 RiboGreen® RNA Quantitation Kit is:

• Automatable–a 10-minute incubation time with no separation steps makes the assay ideal for automated, high-throughput measurements
• Precise–the average coefficient of variation for replicate assays is <= 5% using a robotic liquid handling system
• Convenient–each plate includes pre-measured RNA standards and is ready for immediate use

Contents & storage

The RediPlate™ 96 RiboGreen™ RNA Quantitation Kit is supplied with one 96-well microplate consisting of 12 removable strips, each with 8 wells. Eleven of the strips are pre-loaded with RiboGreen™ Reagent while the remaining strip, marked with blackened tabs, contains a series of RNA for generating standard curves. Also provided is 20X TE buffer and ribosomal RNA standards. Store all components at -2.0°C. Guaranteed stable for 6 months when properly stored.
