Catalog number: R62406

Use Thermo Scientific™ Remel™ PathoDx™ Respiratory Virus Panel Influenza B Reagent along with PathoDx Respiratory Virus Panel (RVP) kit to perform a direct immunofluorescence test for the qualitative detection of Influenza B in prepared patient specimens following growth in cell culture. • Ready to use – Prepared reagents
  • Easy to store – Store at 2-8°C
  • Easy to interpret – Fluorescence is nuclear, cytoplasmic, or both. Nuclear staining is uniformly bright, and cytoplasmic staining is often punctated with large inclusions

Influenzae B Reagent (Purple cap) is one dropper bottle containing 2.0 mL (approximately 40 tests) of fluorescein-labeled purified specific murine monoclonal antibodies, and Evans blue counterstain in a protein stabilized buffer solution, with 0.098% sodium azide as a preservative.

Influenza B can be isolated in MRC-5, RD, A549, HL, and MDCK tube or shell vial cultures with or without the presence of trypsin3,1.
