This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-63338. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
Acts as an inhibitor of serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) activity. Potentiates ubiquitin-mediated proteasomal degradation of serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2A catalytic subunit alpha (PPP2CA). Inhibits PP2A-mediated dephosphorylation of WEE1, promoting ubiquitin- mediated proteolysis of WEE1, thereby releasing G2/M checkpoint.
