Thermo Fisher Scientific is an authorized reseller of the 3M Harvest RC Chromatographic Clarifier, which is a harvest and clarification system for Chinese hamster ovary (CHO)-derived cell cultures. By employing synthetic fibrous AEX chromatographic clarification media, the 3M Harvest RC clarifier enables single-stage clarification of low- to high-density CHO cell cultures (>40 million cells per mL) with high product recovery. This novel method of harvest clarification condenses the multiple stages of traditional process into a single stage while reducing consumption of buffer and water compared to depth filtration. Predictable scalability from laboratory to manufacturing capsules allows for simplified process development and planning. The 3M Harvest RC clarifier is suitable for your harvest needs from R&D through clinical trials and manufacturing. The manufacturing-scale harvest solution requires a stainless-steel holder as well as single-use cartridges, while the R&D and pilot-scale systems require only single-use cartridges.
