Description

  • For In Vitro Diagnostic use
  • Blocks nonspecific antibody (protein) binding of primary reagent

Storage Conditions: Store at 2°-8°C.

Recommended for: Fluorescence Microscopy.
Procedure:

After slides are hydrated to water, wash slides in buffer solution for two minutes. Remove slide from buffer wash, wipe around tissue and apply sufficient drops of Protein Blocking Agent (PBA) to cover the entire section. Incubate for 5 to 20 minutes at room temperature. DO NOT WASH TISSUE SECTIONS IN BUFFER. Carefully tap off excess PBA, wipe around tissue and remove the residual PBA to prevent further dilution of subsequent primary reagent application. Apply the appropriate primary antibody/ primary reagent to cover the entire section and proceed with immunostaining protocol. These directions are recommendations; however, they may be altered according to procedures established in-house.
