TSQ Fortis™ Triple Plus Quadrupole MS eLearning courses provide you with foundational knowledge and basic skills that you need to use and benefit from your instrument. You will find a series of eLearning courses which can cover different topics such as foundational theory and/or basic operations principle and/or user maintenance and troubleshooting.

The TSQ Fortis™ Plus Triple Quadrupole MS foundational theory eLearning course introduces how triple-stage quadrupole mass spectrometers work, the basic hardware configuration of TSQ Series II systems, and the different scan types they can perform.

This Foundational Theory eLearning course is similar and applicable to all TSQ Series II instruments; e.g. TSQ Quantiva™, TSQ Endura™, TSQ Quantis™, TSQ Fortis™, TSQ Altis™, TSQ Altis™ Plus, and TSQ Quantis™ Plus.

The TSQ Fortis™ Plus Triple Quadrupole MS user maintenance and troubleshooting eLearning course provides detailed instructions through video demonstrations of several routine maintenance procedures performed on the Thermo Scientific™ TSQ™ Series II triple quadrupole mass spectrometers with an OptaMax ion source.

• Removal, disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and reinstallation of the external components of the API source & OptaMax source.
• Removal, disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and reinstallation of the external components of the API source interface lenses.
• Replacement of the H-ESI spray insert needle.
• Replacement of the ESI spray insert needle.
• Replacement of the APCI spray insert sample tube.
• Replacement of the APCI corona needle.
