Minisart™ NML Syringe Filters housing is made of the acrylic resin MBS (Methacrylate butadiene styrene) which has a limited compatibility with alcohols but is free of phthalates and passes the plastic class VI test. It is glueable, e.g. to tubing, what enables assembly and sterilization by the user. The SFCA membrane is available in many pore sizes and is tightly connected with the housing which allows bidirectional use. This, combined with the very low non-specific binding characteristics, makes it a perfect choice for biomolecule solutions.
