- Circular 3 mm syringe port in cap which is easily pierced for radioisotope labeling and fraction collecting
- Inert, LN2-grade polypropylene protects critical sample viability at extreme temperatures ranging from +121°C to -195°C (LN2 vapor phase)
- Two-turn closure design ensures that tightening of unique screw-cap will uniformly compress O-ring against beveled seat, eliminating distortion and maintaining seal integrity
- Vials, caps and ethylene/propylene O-rings chemical-resistant and autoclavable with cap loosened
- Molded-in volume lines and etched writing panels on vials and caps will not crack off or dissolve
- External ribs on vials position and lock into serrated holes in metal BioStor Racks, allowing single-handed opening and closing of screw-caps
